The line posts have eye tops so that a top rail can pass through the posts. The top rail forms the finishing part of the frame of the fence which is joined by brace bands that are connected to the posts at the end.
The actual chain link comes in different gauges based on the thickness you prefer for it. If you are looking for commercial or industrial fencing, nine gauge is the ideal. Tension bands are placed between posts and terminals for the purpose of holding the chain in place. A tension bar is used to ensure they hold fast to these tension band.
The tension wire is positioned on the horizontal side of the fence to stop animals and people pushing against the chain link. Similar functions are performed with tie wires however they run vertically between the posts.
