The initiating device informs the control panel when there’s a fire. A good example of an initiating device could be a smoke detector, an item that nearly all of people have at home.
The last element of the security system is the safety components. These safety elements are located everywhere in the building. A couple of examples for these are fire doors and sprinklers. When the fire alarm is activated, every safety device will be sent one. This is when you will be able to see the sprinklers turn off and begin pouring water on the structure.
